Join HAMS at Brew Life Brewing on January 20th in supporting The Wildlife Center of Venice Inc.
Weeks ago HAMS members, under the watchful eye of Head Brewer Tom, made a delicious batch of Brew Life Brewing‘s house sweet stout. They then took it home and gave it their own treatment and would like to share it with you!
Come on in to the Brewery, drop by the Wildlife Center’s table and drop them a donation (we suggest $5, but any amount is appreciated!).. then come on over and get a sample or two.
Want to do more? The Center is always in need of items to care for our stranded wild critters – check out their page at http://wildlifecenterofvenice.org/?page_id=5 for a list of what they can use.
Come join us at our new location and see the wonderful new space we will be occupying in 2018. This is the perfect chance to get a tour of the new property we are working on purchasing. See the great office space, amazing room for cages and pens and the clean, untouched areas for expansion. Also, we will be giving tours of our old area across the street where the animals are currently residing. Children are most certainly welcome.
While you are here, say hi to the goats. Rumor has it that they like carrots…
The new location is just about 100 yards from our old home, on the Southwest corner of Border Road and N. Jackson Road. You enter from Jackson Road. Admission is free, but we are seriously hoping that you will make a (non-carrot) contribution to support our ongoing efforts to rescue wildlife and make the purchase that will finally provide us with a permanent home. Thanks in advance for your continued support through this very important transitional period for The Wildlife Center of Venice!!
Happy New Year to all of our donors, supporters and volunteers!! 2018 will be a big year for WCV while we continue to transition to our new permanent home. Check out our very own WCV Tervis Tumblers that will be for sale very soon in our new online store. Stay hydrated while supporting the Wildlife Center of Venice and help the local economy by buying lifetime guaranteed Tervis Tumblers manufactured right here in Venice, Florida!
